Yasmine has been tutoring since 2011. In Freetown she has been teaching & tutoring since 2014. Yasmine has instructed language courses in English, French & Krio at schools (American International School and YAS Learning Center), individuals and INGOs such as Irish Aid, COOPI, DFID & more. 


Mentoring | Facilitating | Coaching

Experience: Yasmine has been working in the field of girl empowerment as Director of Girl Up Vine Club Sierra Leone since 2016 and has been involved in gender empowerment activities and projects since 2011 with her work at 50/50 Group Sierra Leone. Yasmine has trained youth, adolescent girls and women in computer literacy, digital rights, civic education, menstrual hygiene management, sexual gender based violence, leadership & education. She has facilitated conferences and workshops nationally and internationally. 

In July 2018, Yasmine gave a Tedx talk on “Creating Safe Spaces in the Global South” in Freetown, Sierra Leone at the youth led Tedx@Kingtom event where she discussed the need for safe spaces and how it contributes to national development.
