Hey Freetownians! 👋🏾 👀

I can FEEL the side eye! 🫣

But TRUST me, as always I have a good reason...

Your girl has gone back to school and is getting her Masters in Global Journalism!

Fret not, dear Freetownians. I haven't quite left the shores for higher learning, only my mind has. I'm studying via distance learning, you can't get rid of me that easily 😉.

It's been an adjustment to say the least, studying online while balancing everyday life, but thankfully, it's been good so far. Send your girl well wishes, prayers and...if the spirit moves you — gifts. 👀

Of course I couldn't let this month pass without me putting my stank on it, so to speak. A lot has happened in October, and there's still more you can do this month:

1. Paint for Polio 🎨

World Polio Day is October 24 and Interact, Rotaract and Rotary clubs across Sierra Leone are coming together for the End Polio Now campaign. Wild polio is still endemic in Afghanistan and Pakistan and the world is getting closer to eradicating Polio.
