Top 7 Things to do in Freetown in March 2024

Jumu'ua Mubarak!

Happy Friday!

And... Happy International Women's Day! 💜💜💜

This year the theme for IWD is Investing in Women: Accelerating progress and the hashtag is #InspireInclusion!

Happy International Women's Day to all the fabulous, brilliant, phenomenal, wild, ''poorly'' behaved, troublemaking, disrupting the status quo, breaking generational curses and trauma, healing, soft and hard women today! Continue to #inspireinclusion and take up space in the corners you occupy. I celebrate you and wish you are celebrated today!

Ironically on International Women's Day there is a lot of labor done by women to commemorate this historic day and because I anticipated I would be busy today (as always) I decided to celebrate myself yesterday.

I went on a Ramadan moon.

Life's a Beach

You know since I ain't got no man to take me on a honeymoon and I have no bele (ie not pregnant) to go on a babymoon - I decided to reward and treat myself yesterday to a Ramadan moon.

Ramadan starts on Monday, March 11 and I'm looking forward to it - it's one of my favorite times of the year.

So I took myself to one of the beaches at the Peninsula and spent the day reading, having great and fresh seafood, relaxing and reminding myself why I need to make money in this life and retire early so I can have more days of leisure like this. You know the agenda always remains the same - #softlife

So to the allies out there and the men in the lives of women - make today soft for the woman or women in your life - *coughs* as well as the rest of the month and everyday 🙃. Aaaaaaaand if that just so happens to be me 🤷🏽‍♀️😉 I won't say no o. Just locate me. 🤭

Alright, alright - let's get to why you're really here:
